How To Use Your New AdSense Backgrounds
Step 1: Choose a location on your page to put your new and improved AdSense ad. You will want this to be a place that is looked at frequently by your visitors. It is best to have at least one AdSense block above the fold of your page.
Step 2: Select the background you would like to use and the correct size for the ad you want. IE. if you want to use a leaderboard ad you would select out of the 728x90 folder.
Step 3: Upload the background to your web sites server. It is best to put all of your adsense backgrounds in a centralized directory. It is best to keep the backgrounds in their folders since come may have the same name and they will be more easily located.
Step 4: Copy the following code to the location on your web site where you want your ad to be displayed.

Step 5: Customize your code. Replace PIC Width and PIC Height with the pictures width and height. Please refer to the chart below to make this easier.

Now replace the part labeled Pic Location with the location of your AdSense background. This may be something like /bluediff.gif if the background is in your local directory, if not you will have to put in the complete path IE.

Step 6: The final thing you need to do is put in your AdSense ad and upload your page. Simply go to your AdSense like you normally would to make an ad. Simply choose the correct ad format and edit your colors accordingly. Use the color chart below to make this quick and simple.

Choosing your text is another very important setting when making your AdSense ad. It is best to set the background and border color. Then you can see what your ad will look like and how the text stands out.
With the darker color background (blue, red) white will stand out pretty good. With some of the lighter color backgrounds (green, yellow, ect.) black or blue text stands out good. To achieve the best results simply mess around until you find a combination that you like.
