If you look at the oil hikes today, it could mean disaster for almost every one and every single business. Oil affects almost every industry in the planet and if you take a look at it in the big picture, we're look as if we're being controlled by this single thing called Oil.
But the problem doesn't stop there. Oil hikes takes humans one mile ahead of other races (aliens?) because it gives us a certain stress that something must be done to tally our finances with the price hike of almost anything.
Oil hikes = Food, transportation, bills, rents, mortgages, etc etc heights. Everything hikes. But we could be very sure that the internet business is also affected. Why?
Businesses rely on each other to survive. Each country has their own specialty - There's no one country in the world that can produce every single thing that everyone needs. When everyone depends on each other, everyone's viable to business damage if someone on the other side of the world has problems.
So? In conclusion, internet businesses are somehow affected mostly by politics, socio-economy and much more. Things that are to be sold will be affected (Paypal increases percentage of charge for transactions, Ebay/e-commerce sites increases tax on products transferred, bank issues higher charges on transactions, Yahoo introduces more paid advertisement, music prices increases, popcorn in the cinema that we use to have during a movie becomes more expensive -- read my post on
