Dari tahun 1999 hingga 2005, saya telah memiliki domain free di FortuneCity.Com dan beberapa domain lain di 250free.com, tripod.com, freeweb.com dan sebagainya. Ada yang masih wujud, tetapi saya dah tidak menulis lagi di situ selepas ada domain sendiri.
Jadi, nasihat saya, kalau anda serius, dapatkan domain berbayar. Tapi, jika anda baru nak 'test market' / try, boleh la guna seperti yang dicadangkan Zuraidi.
p/s - Ini hanya pendapat peribadi sahaja.

kalo utk newbie boleh cuba test php script.. kalo dah ok beli hosting sendiri.

Pada pendapat saya, free web hosting ini sesuai untuk pendatang baru dan nak belajar buat web atau blog. Seelok-eloknya pilih php hosting dan ada mysql sekali. denga adanya php dan mysql, mudah untuk anda belajar install wordpress sendiri.
Yang tak bestnya ada iklan dimasukkan ke web kita. Sesiapa nak belajar buang iklan tu boleh pm saya untuk dapatkan kod tertentu, baru nampak profesional sikit.
Dan satu lagi, kalau nak pilih yang free web host ni, pilih yang kita agak boleh bertahan lama, contohnya geocities.com tu yahoo yang punya, Yahoo mempunyai kewangan yang kukuh untuk kita menumpang laman web kita
